Compositions ~

Kristo has held a deep respect for the beauty of music.. He started to play piano when he was 11 years old, and took lessons for several years with professional pianist (David Crane) in Los Angeles. He started to compose/record his own music in his junior high school years.. performing in various bands as well in high school (Pacific Palisades High/Santa Monica/Malibu). At this point he became entranced by the sounds of Jazz (John Coltrane, Monk, Sun Ra.) He also started to study more popular artist like Prince, Bob Marley, James Brown, Earth Wind and Fire.... In high school, Kristo started to teach himself bass and guitar. He became proficient on these instruments and began playing live in many different bands in the Hawaiian Islands and in Washington state and Florida. In 09' , he began extensive touring with a band in Florida: The Floridian Band. Having played the breadth of the whole west coast of Florida. Now Kristo has relocated to Denver, Colorado. He also teaches piano, bass and electric guitar...and he also sings. The Kristo Trio is his new musical creation in Denver,  bringing forward a powerful mix of old/new school jazz and modern fusion with soulful original compositions.

William D. Foster Jr., a versatile and powerful musician, has been playing drums and percussion since he found a set in the trash down the alley from his childhood home. Just a toy, but a beginning. 

William has played in and produced bands from Seattle to Baltimore and places in between most recently Denver, his current home base. Why? Because music makes you fly.

Wilson Luallen was given an electric bass for his twelfth birthday, and a  few years later he started playing rock songs with friends. Eventually he also  began playing upright bass, which he studied at the University of Denver. He has played professionally since 2015, and is excited to experience new musical vistas with the Kristo Trio.
